Job description
- To analyze the market, understanding the industry drivers as well as the business acumen and preparation of strategy for the served market
- Identifying the key opportunities during an early stage (FEED) and jointly working with clients to develop the solution
- To Conduct the Roadshows, technical presentation and seminars, participation, and active promotion of Compressor Solution during such roadshows and events
- Mapping of the complete industry chain (Consultants, Licensors, EPCs as well as End Users) to understand the stake holder analysis and preparing a solution according to the need of the stake holders.
- Develop Go to Market approaches for different products / market segments / portfolios etc. including active marketing (creating where necessary the material / technical info / business cases).
- Develop the strong sales pipeline by defining strategies to retain/grow existing and acquire new accounts to achieve greater market share and growth.
- As part of the offer process, reviewing the enquiry, preparing the budgetary quotation, meeting with the bid management team, working closely with Cross - Functional Team to prepare the most efficient solution for Customer.
- Work with the bid team to deliver cost estimates, ensure lessons learned are implemented, clear offer documentation and scope is defined, and project scheduling that meets customers requirements.
- Active participation in technical clarification meetings, developing the value proposition, successfully driving the negotiation process in cooperation with proposal management/ other involved professionals and management.
- Ensuring a timely completion of Siemens Energy Internal Processes.
- identification and management of potential business partners.
- Mapping of competitor s range and their business models and aligning project specific strategies.
- To win profitable orders for the organization and increase Siemens Energy Market Share.
What do I need to qualify for this job
- A bachelor s degree in Mechanical engineering
- Master s degree in Business Management (MBA) or Finance Management would be an added advantage
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience Business Development, Sales, and Sales support roles such as key account management, tender management, bid preparation, etc.
- Experience and knowledge of Centrifugal Compressors and it s application.
- Knowledge of basic Commercial Terms and Conditions
- Broad base of business knowledge in addition to technical knowledge.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional as well cross-cultural teams without formal authority.
- Good aptitude with outstanding techno-commercial, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Presentation Skills as well as problem solving conflict resolution skills.
- Strong competence in using IT tools including Microsoft Office and Salesforce applications.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude, character, Integrity, Motivation, Determination and create value to the organization
- Amicable to travelling
