Target salary range: $150,000 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

The Programmatic Solutions Architect (PSA), a central figure within the Strategic Solutions Team (SST), is tasked with leading the innovation and development of program management solutions. This role encompasses the strategic creation of novel program management approaches, staffing plans, transition strategies, and recruiting/retention tactics for responses to DoD requests for proposals, statements of need, and other contract opportunities. This includes the critical activities of decomposing client program management requirements into actionable strategies and leading the development of management volumes for proposals. The architect will ensure that our solutions are both strategically sound and aligned with JANUS’ competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

· Requirements Decomposition: Analyze and decompose complex program management requirements into clear, actionable strategies that align with JANUS’ capabilities and differentiate our proposals.

· Strategic Solutions Development: Innovate within the SST, crafting program management solutions that surpass client expectations. The PSA will contribute solutions to the management volumes of proposals.

· CONOPS Formulation: Develop clear, comprehensive Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) as part of a strategic program management framework, assisting Business Development with responses to key contract opportunities.

· Graphic Concept Design: Initiate and define graphical concepts for proposals that express programmatic solutions, focusing on conceptual clarity and strategic alignment. Works with JANUS graphic artists to translate concepts into proposal graphics.

· Proposal Innovation: Lead in drafting and refining management volumes for proposals, collaborating with teams to create solutions that underscore JANUS’ competitive advantage.

· Collaborative Strategy: Work alongside the SST and other teams to analyze complex RFP requirements, formulating actionable, strategic solutions.

· Communication Excellence: Effectively convey complex program management strategies and solutions to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.

· Management Volume Leadership: Draft and refine management volumes within JANUS proposals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to articulate JANUS’ value proposition through innovative program management solutions.

· Solution Architecture: Apply solution architecture principles to the design and development of scalable, resilient program management strategies that meet client needs.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet those goals.

· Innovation and Best Practices: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge program management tools and methodologies, continuously seeking out and implementing best practices to maintain JANUS’ leadership in the field.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

· Experience: Demonstrable background in management of professional services support programs valued a minimum of $50M or 125 FTE’s, especially within the Department of Defense (DoD) or as a contractor supporting DoD, with a focus on developing and implementing program management solutions.

· Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Exceptional ability to analyze requirements, identify key elements, and develop strategic solutions that highlight JANUS’ competitive edge.

· Leadership in Proposal Development: Proven track record in leading the development of management volumes for proposals, demonstrating strong writing, collaboration, and project management skills.

· Technical Proficiency: Adept at leveraging program management technologies and methodologies to design effective solutions. Ability to create and manage teams using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, as well as navigate and contribute to JIRA. Exceptional consideration given to applicants who have experience using PowerBI.

· Communication and Collaboration: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to a diverse stakeholder group and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications in program management, solution architecture, or related disciplines are highly valued. A graduate degree is preferred.
