DutiesandResponsibilities:
. Proactive and responsive monitoring of Digital infrastructure and services
. Perform Functional Incident Manager role to advocate between the teams and drive incidents towards resolution.
. Perform Functional Problem Manager role to provide assistance and manage situation to determine the root cause.
. Perform Functional Change Manager role to validate the attributes in the Change record and drive for authorization.
. Keep the stakeholders updated regularly with the progress of the Incidents - Problems and Changes.
. Perform Initial Triage across different infrastructure with the SOP and contribute for improvements of SOP's.
. Perform Service restoration checks and drive consensus with the requestors for Incident / Service Request closure.
. Comply with Process standards and escalate as appropriate per the situation demands.
. Adherence to Functional and Hierarchical Escalation Matrix at defined thresholds.
. Provide operational assistance to end-users with remote-access requests
. Volunteer or contribute towards the assigned projects for Continuous Service Improvement Standards.
. SeniorNOCAdministratorwill mentor & coach theNOCAdministrators in the shift and responsible for all transactions in
the shift.
. Identify the training requirements and volunteer for Training enablement
. Identify the areas where we need SOP's to be created / modified based on the observation / feedback.
. Lead bridge calls across all P1 incidents, Develop Incident Probing and Communication skills
. Onboard New Joinees, enable them on all tasks and deliverables.
. Otherdutiesas assigned by Lead or Supervisor
Qualifications:
. BE / B Tech in Computer Science or any relevant Field
. 5+ years of experience working in a UNIX (RedHat Linux) / Windows Operating Systems
. ITIL V3 certified and Experience / Knowledge working as Incident Manager / IM Processes.
. Exhibit excellent teamwork with strong oral and written communication/documentation skills
. Ability to multitask under pressure from time critical events
. Ability to handle 24x7 shifts and the pros/cons/flexibility ofNOCshift-type work
. Desire to troubleshoot & find root cause
. Enthusiasm and interest in Networking and Open-Source technologies
. Strong sense of professionalism, duty, and ethics
Other desired skills/abilities (considered as an added advantage):
. Familiarity with two or more of the following domain focus areas: IT Service Management (ITSM), Service Operations, and
Data Center Operations with fair understanding on Incident - Problem and Change Management process.
. Experience with automation scripting (Bash or Python)
. Configuring and implementing monitoring tools like Zenoss, DataDog, PagerDuty, InMon, Grafana, WFA etc.
. Basic Networking and server side certifications (CCNA/RHCSA)
