The Universal Access to Quality Contraception (UAQ) project being implemented by PSI-IPL, builds on the successful roll out of the Expanded Access to Quality Contraception (EAQ) project implemented by PSI-India from 2014-2019, which enabled Government of Uttar Pradesh to leverage private sector providers in achieving its goal of expanding family planning coverage in the state. This was achieved through establishment of a web-based digital platform. The platform – called Hausla Sahjeedhari (HS) enabled Government of Uttar Pradesh to expand provision of permanent FP methods in the state. A key aspect of the UAQ project is to explore opportunities to include contraceptives coverage as a rider in the voluntary commercial health insurance. The initial demonstration of a costed FP benefits package in the city of Agra has enrolled over 6,000 women beneficiaries till July 2023. The project, building on its initial learnings has developed FP-OP healthcare packages in collaboration with Kenko Health.
PSI seeks to employ Business Manager that will help us to undertake outreach activities to position FP-OP healthcare products in the project location. S/he will be responsible to acquire subscribers for the healthcare products for which necessary and coordinated campaigns will be carried out at potential subscriber locations – such as small, medium and large-scale industries, neighboring communities, network pharmacies, and medical practitioners, under the supervision of Director-Programs, UAQ.
Your contribution
· Conduct activation visits – to identified sales points such as small, medium and large-scale industries, neighbouring communities, network pharmacies, and medical practitioners.
· Execute program strategy as shared by the line manager.
