Job description
Skills and Qualifications for the Role :
1. Professional Architectural / Interior design degree from an accredited institution. 2. Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate work experience on residential (independent homes, villas & apartments), and or commercial (Hospitality & retail) projects in Bangalore is required. 3. Must know how to generate a set of design and construction documents (shop drawings). 4. Understanding construction means & methods for projects. 5. Must have experience designing and detailing custom millwork. 6. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup is mandatory. 7. Must express strong visualisation skills and the ability to translate this through different media (free hand sketches & digital presentation). 8. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign & Photoshop. 9. Ability to work closely within a team while also managing own time and taking initiative to move tasks forward without explicit direction. 10. Ability to generate and maintain a BOQ. 11. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. 12. Must be highly organised and capable of working on a diverse range of tasks in a fast-paced environment. 13. Must be proficient with researching and resourcing materials, processes and applications in the field in interior design & architecture. 14. Currently living in/near Bangalore or willing. to relocate to Bangalore. 15. Must be open to working on all types of interior and landscape projects. 16. Must have a some knowledge of lighting design. 17. Must have a basic understanding of Vastu. 18. Must be articulate in English, Hindi & Kannada.Job tags
