Job Summary:

NOVO is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Trainer to join our team at Mahindra & Mahindra. As a Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for imparting product and sales process training to sales consultants and other staff members at Mahindra dealerships. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the competency and overall performance of dealership sales staff through coaching and handholding. Achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), maintaining effective coordination with dealership management and regional teams, and delivering high-quality training are integral parts of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver product and sales process training to sales consultants and other staff members at Mahindra & Mahindra dealerships.

Coach and provide ongoing support to dealership sales staff to bridge competency gaps and improve overall performance.

Drive and achieve key performance indicators such as training calendar adherence, nominations, eLearning completion, productivity, and customer satisfaction index for assigned dealerships.

Regularly coordinate with Dealer Principals, Sales GM/SM, and HR to drive and achieve KPIs.

Conduct online and offline classroom training sessions, as well as provide on-the-job coaching at assigned dealerships.

Visit respective Mahindra & Mahindra regional area offices as required.

Work collaboratively with the Mahindra & Mahindra Regional team to co-develop tools, methods, and strategies necessary for delivering high-quality training and managing other training-related tasks.

Perform training needs analysis and share findings with the respective manager, along with recommended corrective measures.

Prepare and submit monthly training reports and other assigned deliverables.

A willingness to travel is a fundamental requirement for this job role, as it involves regular travel to various locations.

The individual should possess a strong knowledge of the surrounding geography to facilitate efficient route planning and scheduling on a monthly basis.

The job entails traveling to assigned dealerships both within and between cities for approximately 20-22 days each month.

The majority of the training sessions, around 80%, will focus on sales and product-related topics, while the remaining 20% will cover other areas such as technology, processes, and

behaviour.

Qualifications:

 Minimum of 5-7 years of experience, with at least 4 years working with a training and consulting company as a product and sales process trainer for automotive clients.

 Prior experience working in an automobile dealership as a GM/SM-Sales, with at least 5+ years of experience, including handling training and coaching of dealership manpower.

 Experience in a standalone training role within the automotive sector, with at least 4+ years of experience in the training domain.

 Graduation in any discipline.

 Ability to work under demanding deadlines while remaining committed to achieving goals.

 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex information.

 Hardworking and a team player.

 Proficiency in all MS Office tools.
