Responsibilities
- Conduct individual career counseling sessions to assess clients' interests, skills, and values
- Help clients identify and explore potential career paths based on their strengths and interests
- Provide guidance on educational requirements, job market trends, and professional development opportunities
- Assist clients in developing resumes, cover letters, and job search strategies
- Administer and interpret career assessment tests to provide insights into clients' aptitudes and interests
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress in achieving their career goals
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, to provide comprehensive support to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in career counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Proven experience in career counseling or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of career assessment tests and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with job market trends and industry demands
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Certification in career counseling or a relevant field is preferred
