Python Developer with YAML and DevOps Skills
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with expertise in YAML and DevOps practices to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python scripting, YAML configuration management, and experience working with DevOps tools and methodologies.
Experience: 4+ years
Primary skill: Python with YAML
Secondary Skill: Devops
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and optimize Python applications using YAML for configuration management and data serialization.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Python scripts for automation and integration tasks.
3. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
4. Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
5. Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary improvements.
6. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement best practices for code quality, security, and maintainability.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on Python scripting, YAML, and DevOps practices.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Python scripting, YAML, and DevOps to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technology.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on scripting and automation.
3. Extensive experience with YAML for configuration management and data serialization.
4. In-depth knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
6. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying current with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with multiple DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
2. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
3. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
4. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
