Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at National Aircon India Pvt Ltd. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. This role requires excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as a strong background in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and HVAC Engineering.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry or HVAC Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in MS Office suite and ERP software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with company goals and objectives
- Identify potential suppliers and vendors, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to meet project requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including pricing, delivery dates, and quality
- Manage inventory levels and establish effective inventory control processes
- Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards
- Develop and train procurement staff to enhance their skills and performance
