Job description

This is a full time work-from-office role (Andheri West, Mumbai) for mid-level to senior video editors (at least 3-4 years of experience). You will get the opportunity to edit a wide range of videos across digital commercials, influencer media assets, short films and other over-the-top content, while you collaborate with some of the biggest brand houses in India.

• You'll be growing with an independent film production house, while working closely with a marketing agency
• You'll be responsible for creating cohesive narratives across fiction and non-fiction formats, for both branded & non-branded content
• You will develop expertise across the full post-production pipeline from data management to VFX, learn how to execute projects in time-bound ways that optimise project resources - honing and deepening your own craft in the process.

YOUR DAY TO DAY :

There are 4 key components of this role:

1. Understand brand briefs & guidelines and brainstorm with the creative team in pitching video productions to clients
2. Build compelling narrative s from the raw footage received, irrespective of its quality and quantity.
3. Lead the post-production department of the organisation through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, such as videographers, graphic designers, and other content creators.
4. Review and assess the quality of 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects that are require to enhance video projects.
5. Take ownership of projects and work individually or with the team as and when required to ensure seamless delivery of projects to clients within committed timelines.

We're not looking for IG reel editors; this role is more for people with a strong sense of storytelling. We won't be evaluating your prowess on any software; we're interested in your knowledge and understanding of the interplay of pacing, rhythm, visual language, and audience awareness that make the work of an editor an art form in itself.
