We are looking for a Vice President of Research & Development Center Bangalore in Electromobility at Group Trucks Technology. The R&D resources for the three truck brands (Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, and Mack Trucks) are centralized into Volvo Group Trucks Technology . Volvo Group Trucks Technology provides state-of-the-art research, cutting-edge engineering, and product planning, as well as aftermarket product support. Volvo Group Trucks Technology also delivers technologies to trucks, buses, construction equipment and power solutions for marine and industrial applications. Your Mission On This Job We are reforming the whole Electromobility operating model and as a part of this also the Bangalore scope. The main mission for this role is to establish an organization that can deliver successfully and with high performance in the new setup, where Bangalore becomes an RnD center based on local competence/expertise and local context uniqueness. In this role, proactive management of risks, anticipation of changes, and pursuit of best practices, while actively engaging in end-to-end business operations, are of the highest importance.
