Job description
We are a fast-growing Bay Area-based startup backed by leading investors like Menlo Ventures, Accel and Y-Combinator. We create AI and ML-powered software for the finance and lending industries, focused on repayment and debt recovery. We work to improve conversations between call center agents and customers and provide actionable insights. Our products use AI to create next-generation speech analytics that support real-time agent guidance, automated notes after conversations, and call analysis for quality assurance and compliance.
The team has deep technical talent today and we believe there is an opportunity to build an iconic vertical software business that will fundamentally impact how the multi-trillion-dollar debt industry is managed. Debt has such a massive impact on consumers and prior to Prodigal, the industry was saddled with painful, low value manual workflows, and poor customer experience- our mission is to humanize the debt repayment process through automation and data.
Play a major role in the pre-sales (scoping) and post-sales process (delivery). Expertise in the technical elements of the product, project management and the ability to train/ onboard customers are important competencies in this position. Success in this role will be demonstrated by on-schedule delivery, strong stakeholder management, and accelerated time to launch and value and retention of clients.
What you'll be expected to do
- Pre-Sales
- Partner with Sales and work with prospective customers (late in the Sales cycle/ near signing) on the technical qualification of opportunities and scoping of implementation.
- Post-Sales
- Timely Delivery: Responsible for delivering an on-schedule implementation and go-live that includes all items outlined in the customer's implementation package, thereby paving the way to an accelerated path to value.
- Project Management: Responsible for delivering an on-schedule implementation and go-live that includes all items outlined in the customer's implementation package. Drive customer calls and follow up strong project governance, including maintaining project plans, prompt documentation, internal and external stakeholder management, and flagging potential risks/ blockers).
- User Onboarding: Create and deliver customer training and onboarding programs to ensure the successful adoption of products and services.
- Setting up for Success: Learn customers' tech stacks, workflows, and goals and suggest ways that customers can use Prodigal solutions effectively.
- Breaking the customer's problem statement/ requirements into actionable tasks for the internal engineering team.
- Provide Prodigal's Product team with customer feedback to help identify potential new features or products.
Who are you
- Previous experience in project management/implementation (handling tech stakeholders, customer-facing conversations, ability to write crisp and actionable emails, creating project plans, and maintaining project boards)
- Ability to work with ambiguous tasks.
- Fluent (advanced) English language skills (oral and written).
- 3+ years of experience managing software implementation projects with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- 3+ years of client-facing experience in organizations with complex industries (preferred but not mandatory: B2B SaaS experience).
- Flexible to work in US hours (Eastern Time).
