SEO Specialist - Social Trading Platform

Position Overview: ZuluTrade, a leader in the Social Trading and Wealth Management sector, is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our innovative and vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic techniques such as keyword research, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies. Key Responsibilities: As a SEO Specialist, the primary responsibilities compasses keyword research, implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies, analysing website performance metrics, and staying abreast of search engine algorithms. Their expertise extends to content development, link building, Analytics and Reporting, Guest Posting, Collaboration, and ensuring website compliance with SEO best practices. Ultimately, SEO specialists strive to improve website rankings, increase organic traffic, and contribute to overall digital marketing success. Key responsibilities include: a) SEO Strategy & Research: ● Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with the company's goals and industry best practices. ● Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords and phrases to target. b) On-Page/ Off-Page Optimization: ● Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings and user experience. ● Build high-quality backlinks, manage link-building campaigns, and collaborate with content creators to generate shareable, link-worthy content. c) SEO Tools & Technical SEO: ● Utilize SEO tools and analytics platforms to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions. ● Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including website speed, mobile-friendliness, and site architecture. d) Content Strategy: ● Collaborate with content teams to create SEO-friendly content, optimize existing content, and ensure alignment with SEO goals. e) Competitor Analysis: ● Monitor and analyze the SEO strategies of competitors to identify opportunities and trends in the cyber security industry. f) Team Collaboration: ● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, product, web developers, design and marketing, to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives. g) User Experience (UX): ● Ensure that SEO efforts contribute to a positive user experience on the company's digital properties. KPI’s for the Role a) Organic Traffic Growth b) Keyword Rankings c) Conversion & Bounce Rate d) Backlink Profile e) Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) f) Leads Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 2 -3 years of professional experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role. Proven experience in SEO(preferably Finance or Trading niche). In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices. Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools. Skills Requirement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ability to develop long-term plans for continuous improvement in search rankings and organic traffic. Understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization (meta tags, headers, content optimization), off-page techniques (link building, social media) and outreach guest posts. Knowledge of how to acquire high-quality backlinks and understanding the importance of link equity. Understanding how social media affects SEO and organic reach, and how to leverage social platforms for brand growth and engagement. Knowledge of using canva and graphic banners.
