Purpose

As a Purchase Administrator, you will, be responsible for day-to-day Processing of Purchase requests, Purchase orders, Subcontract orders, Delivery orders and master data update related with purchase, subcontract processes. You will work with Senior Supply chain specialist and Planning specialist to effectively complete the updates in SAP. This position requires Hand on experience in SAP and in chemical industry will be an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Full-time BSC/MSC in chemistry from a reputed university
  • SAP Hands on experience in Material management module with a special focus on Purchase
  • Relevant Supply chain or Procurement Certification program will be an advantage.
  • 2-4 years' experience in purchasing in process Purchase orders, Delivery orders, Subcontract orders using all the relevant T codes in SAP.

Accountabilities

  • Reconciliation of invoices
  • Support for all aspects of stock management
  • Maintain supplier information in the SAP Master file, and associate systems, such as, Ariba
  • Demonstrates knowledge of external guidelines (e.g., FDA, Customs, etc) to ensure compliances.
  • Gather and provide concise data to support issue resolution
  • Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and multitask to enhance productivity and manage workload
  • Possesses ability to work within team environment
  • Exhibits strong negotiation skills
  • Perform full analysis on raw crude samples and in process samples – Screening, PSD, Densities, and Brightness.

Key Competencies / Characteristics

  • SAP MM, with focus on Purchasing modules
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook and database management.
  • Proficient in English, Tamil, Hindi, with good oral and written communication skill.
  • Good Team player with good work ethics
  • Willing to learn and be part of larger Shared service team
