Job description
Responsibilities
● Build awareness, increase knowledge and drive adoption of modern technologies
● Promote a culture of engineering excellence, using opportunities to reuse using open source technologies
● Effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders across the company, at all levels of the organization
● Lead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments
● Operate as a trusted advisor for a specific technology, platform or capability domain, helping to shape use cases and implementation in an unified manner
● Lead the way in creating next-generation talent for Tech, mentoring internal talent
● Drive best practices by creating technical content, code samples, blog posts, and educate our engineers on AWS technologies
● Expert in OOAD and able to design solutions in different technology stacks
● Own Major modules of 1 Product, its maintainability, performance, scalability, quality
● Expert in different development and QA tools including but not limited to Code monitoring, Checkstyles, Cyclic dependencies, Code coverage, statistical analysis , automation and load testing ● Able to independently review technical solutions , design documents from the team and suggest improvements
● Should be expert in Design patterns, Integration diagram, sequence diagrams, ER modeling
Requirements
● Work experience as a Sr Architect / Distinguished Engineer / Lead Software Engineer or in a similar position at an engineering department
● At least 10 years of experience in software engineering
● 10+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Python or Node.js
● 10+ years of experience developing resilient, scalable, distributed applications leveraging event-driven and microservice architecture
● At least 3 years of experience with AWS cloud computing
● 7+ years of experience in open source frameworks
● 1+ years of people management experience
● 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
● Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
