Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in developing and updating project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with various project stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are addressed.
2. Budget and Cost Monitoring:
- Support the monitoring of project budgets and expenses.
- Assist in tracking and reporting financial performance.
- Contribute to identifying cost-saving measures.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain quality control measures.
- Assist in ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Contribute to conducting regular inspections and quality assessments.
4. Schedule Support:
- Aid in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
- Assist in monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays.
- Contribute to implementing adjustments to the schedule as needed.
5. Team Support and Communication:
- Provide administrative support to project teams.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Communicate project updates and relevant information to team members.
6. Risk Management Assistance:
- Assist in identifying and documenting potential project risks.
- Support the implementation of safety measures on construction sites.
- Contribute to proactive responses to unforeseen challenges.
7. Client Interaction:
- Assist in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and address inquiries.
- Support efforts to ensure client satisfaction throughout projects.
8. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
- Contribute to the generation of regular progress reports for stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing project close-out documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in construction project co-ordination or a related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
