Scope:

Leading the technical design, development, and implementation of crossfunctional, multi-platform application systems.

Conducting module level work effort estimations and integrating them for the whole system.

Estimating the impact of changes in requirements on time, cost, and technical functions.

Developing, planning, and managing the implementation of activities for projects.

Conducting system-wide integration requirement analysis and thoroughly understanding the requirements and design.

Using best practices and coding standards, conducting peer-reviews, leading reviews, and providing feedback.

Providing accurate and detailed weekly task reports.

Clarifying unknown areas communicated by the vendor team from the customer.

Developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, enhancing, and documenting components as per the requirements and detailed design.

Conducting thorough unit testing and integration testing for the whole system.

Conducting configuration and team management of own work and assisting in project coordination.

Conducting project risk identification and mitigation action planning with the project manager.

Having functional domain expertise in areas such as cards, digital payments, ATM, CDM, payment gateway, trade finance, corporate loan facility & origination,
digital wealth management, Omani channel, mobile banking, online transaction banking (B2B).

Possessing 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

Having good knowledge of the company's product development lifecycle and process tools.

Being aware of sound industry trends and design patterns.

Having proficiency in C#.net, web services (C#.net, VB.net, VB 6.0, C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, OOA and OOD Concepts).

Having sound proficiency with Microsoft .NET/Java technologies, SQL, major RDBMS (Oracle), OO techniques, and data modeling.

Having knowledge of unit testing methodologies and frameworks.

In addition to the project responsibilities, there are general responsibilities,

which include:

Building understanding of industry trends and contributing to the development of standards and practices for areas of domain expertise.

Owning one or more modules of the project under development.

Providing L3 support and enhancements as necessary.

Mentoring junior team members with the assistance of PM/Architect.

Being flexible in working under changing and different work settings.

Maintaining high team morale.

Adhering to company and project standards and guidelines.

Ensuring accurate time accounting and reporting of own work.

Promptly escalating issues that affect product delivery and quality beyond the scope of influence and reporting them to the reporting manager.

Paying high attention to detail in all work.

Ensuring quality, on-time delivery of agreed deliverables.

Contributing to the company knowledge base and process improvement.
