Primary focus
Build and expand automated power BI dashboard for workforce analytics; comfortable owning legacy dashboards, while working on rebuild.
Document Excel-based process today - migrate to SQL Datawarehouse
Create and maintain Dataflows, depending on Excel manipulation and Warehouse sources.
Key competencies / mindset
Ownership mindset is a must have; self-motivated, committed to following through on key deliverables.
Strong data analysis, able to self-explore new data to understand correct usage and create list of questions to solve for (e.g., formulas/DAX, joins)
Clear communication, verbal and written, is a key; our dashboards have a large audience, so this person must be able to help track user experience accurately.
Create step-by-step process documentation to plan work and analyze necessary changes (e.g., data refreshes, publishing custom dashboards, troubleshooting errors)
