Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Designer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Structural Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing structural plans and blueprints for various projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and is a full-time role. We offer competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications And Skills - A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Structural Designer with 4 to 6 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of structural design principles and practices
- Proficient in using CAD software and other design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Roles And Responsibilities - Create and design structural plans and blueprints for various projects
- Ensure that designs are compliant with relevant codes and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to gather project requirements
- Review and analyze project specifications and technical drawings
- Use specialized software to create and modify structural designs
- Perform calculations to determine load capacities and ensure structural integrity
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, and construction teams
- Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and resolve design issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural design

modifications during the detailing process.
Report progress and issues promptly to the Head of Design, ensuring a smooth
and fluid design process.
Provide updates on project milestones, challenges, and potential risks that may
impact timelines.
Identify potential issues in the design phase and report them in advance.
Collaborate with reporting managers and senior management to develop action
plans to address and resolve issues promptly.
