Db2 DBSADB2 for z/OS Analyst: Competitive candidates will bring the following: Experience installing DB2 and related products Work experience maintaining DB2 infrastructure Experience with DB2 system backup and recovery Strong ISPF skills Proficiency in JCL Strong problem-solving skills to address system issues and DB2 specific errors Ability to code in REXX for new software deployment, disaster recovery and internal tools Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset Experience with SMP/e is a plus Ensure the ongoing, successful operation of the key systems. As a Ensure DB2 remains up and running for all of State Farm's customers by managing the installation, maintenance and support of DB2 and related tools on the z/OS platform. Troubleshoot product issues reported by users or pro-actively detected. Monitor DB2 for stability and recommend/implement actions to address issues. Work with vendors such as IBM and BMC on deploying new product releases, fixes and maintenance. Evaluate new DB2 development and function to determine the impact to infrastructure and applications. Build, support and deploy tools, products and automation Participate in periodic Disaster Recovery exercises be available on an occasional, rotating basis to support the 24x7 availability of DB2 systems. Assist DB2 Developers and DBAs in using DB2 and related products (1.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (2.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (3.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives. (4.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
