We are looking for a Lead Financial Controller (H/F) to join our team in Wissembourg (north of Alsace).
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten
- US GAAP and French GAAP support and expert on monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing tasks
- Direct contact with external &internal auditors for SOX and legal audits
- Compliance and internal control involvement
- Financial Project copilot: SAP4HANA, E-invoicing and others to come.
- Tandem with GL/Payroll/and tax accountant
- Budget and forecast legal entity support.
- Accounts payable coordination between local site and Shared services Team (purchase dept, logistics, sales agents...) and travel management master data follow up backup
- Accounts receivable coordination between local site and Shared services Team (Dunning, collection problems,..)
- Merger and acquisition Financial expert
- Fixed asset coordination between local site and Shared service team
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifikationen
- Master Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 recent years accounting/ finance controller work experience
- Advanced analytical skills
- Written and oral fluency in English - German highly appreciated
- Advanced MS Office proficiency with Excel expertise
- Hands-on SAP experience
- Previous experience with M&A would be a plus
- Positive, constructive, and effective verbal, written, computer, quantitative, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Strong, open, receptive communication style with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and focus on solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong technical and analytical skills,
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex global environment and build positive business relationships with all parties
- Operates at the highest standards of business ethics, honesty, personal integrity, and professionalism.
