Job description

Our client is a group with a 130-year history and 2, 500 employees worldwide.
Pioneers of the circular economy, they have created solutions to turn today's waste into tomorrow's resources.
This waste must BE collected, sorted and recycled to stop polluting the environment.

They are currently looking for a Product Manager Bins on a permanent basis.

The position is located in Colombes. Some travel in Europe is to BE expected.
Objective of the function

Overall responsibility for 2-wheel and 4-wheel products (entire product-life-cycle) worldwide
(bin business, approx. > 100 million € turnover)

Main tasks of the function
- SUPPORT BUSINESS.

o Ensures as an interface function between market, R&D, profitability, production, sustainable
profitability and sustainable growth of its products/ product group, makes the necessary
decisions (innovation, products development)
o Successfully places new products (or evolution) on the global market as "Portfolio Manager
Bins"
o Carries out life cycle analyses, international market research studies and margin analyses with
the aim of improving margins, successful product launches and portfolio adjustments
o Key role on competitive intelligence to help the company to reinforce its market share : mainly in
Europe
Shares his activities according to country needs
Collects sales offers developed by subsidiaries (coordinating role with the country sales forces)
Declines in agreement with the CPO the opportunities on each market
Participates in coordinating committees
o Reference for the Strategic Development Markets Potential Committee
o Conducts sales argumentation
o External valuable partners sourcing
- EFFICICENCY.

o Contribution efficiency/rationalization in products, spare-parts, color in each plants & between
plastic plants

Obligations of the function holder

o Compliance with the company's values and the associated behaviour
o Good cooperation with all internal and external colleagues while at the same time achieving the
objectives
o Consideration of and compliance with the current Group standards and legal requirements within the scope of its activities
o Compliance with requirements and processes from the integrated management system for
quality, environmental and occupational safety and energy management

Function owner has contact to :

o Communications, Sales, Central Marketing, Procurement, R&D, Controlling, Plants (everything
national and international) Profile or requirements :

Degree (business studies or technical studies) and many years of experience (at least 5 years), also
international experience in a globally active medium-sized group in B to B business
o sales experience
o Successful work in matrix organizations
o Can convince and inspire people
o Very good understanding of B to B business in comparable (medium-sized) companies (not
necessarily our industry, i.e. competition)
o High analytical competence, good understanding of numbers
o High technical competence, can make technical facts understandable and explain them
o Distinctive intercultural competence, generally very competent in dealing with people
o English perfect, other languages an advantage
