Summary :

The Client Development Executive (CDE) is a key member of the Americas sales team. Reporting to the Director, Global Client Development, the CDE will work closely with MDs/Ds, often acting as the first of point of contact during prospect engagement, articulating appropriate Carbon & Data Management and Decarbonisation Solutions, while delivering best in class services.

Additionally, the CDE is responsible for researching Top Prospects within a given sector(s) and identifying opportunities to enhance the Client Development Function. Focusing on ways to optimize and ensure relevance to the target audience, outreaching to C level and Director level personas, sharing insights with other CDEs, Global Market Development and business teams as appropriate, to ultimately accelerate client pipeline engagements. The CDE is a true consulting partner and ambassador for both prospects and the internal sales organization forging excellent relationships with Sector leads, MDs/Ds.

Primary Functions and Essential criteria :
- A Client Development Executive (CDE) is tasked with delivering Qualified Meetings for the Unified Sales organization
- Role is designedrole to BE a 80/20 split : 80% new business outreach and 20% Enterprise Account prospecting into specified accounts as directed by the Director, Global Client Development and the Sector MDs/Ds
- Work closely with Marketing to align on strategic campaigns to deploy within CDE outreach
- Ensure timely follow-up on all Marketing-generated leads and campaign outreach
- Solicit ongoing Sales feedback regarding meeting quality and opportunity creation potential, mostly in post call debriefs
- Participate in relevant monthly territory calls between Client Development and Sales
- Partner with MDs/Ds on key logo Global Accounts to engage account and contribute to the global development of the account
- Achieve KPIs as directed by the Director, Global Client Development
- Participate in training and other group wide events from time to time
- Mentor more junior colleagues and lead internal meetings as required
- Ensure Salesforce process is adhered to and updated daily with relevant CDE sales data, meetings notes, NDA's and other client relevant material
- Work closely with Sales Operations and Sales Enablement teams
- Adhere to an Omni-Channel selling approach, leveraging Account Based Targeting strategies to improve sales velocity
- Forecast individual sales targets pinpointing areas of improvement and of challenge
- Develop on-going personal plans in the advancement of sales and account management skills
- Keep updated with EMEAI Sustainability news and sector challenges. Share these with colleagues in weekly Team meetings
- Share what works and what does not

Qualifications

Education, Certification, Knowledge
- BA/BS degree - Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field preferred

Experience
- 4+ years of successful experience in a revenue-focused Business Development or Sales role, preferably consultative / non-tangible solutions. Energy knowledge is a plus
- Demonstrated record of exceeding personal sales revenue targets
- Knowledge of and / or experience using digital tools to drive sales productivity (Salesforce, Pardot, 6Sense, Zoominfo, etc.)

Skills and Ability
- A true partner within Sales, Marketing, and Senior leadership - demonstrating a growth mindset and eagerness to apply and learn new approaches
- Ability to understand and navigate long and complex deals, keeping focused on creating value each step of the way
- Technologically Savvy; understands how to use SaaS applications to drive productivity and translate data into better results
- Excellent communicator who is focused on building strong relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing and Sales
- Ability to interpret personal sales data and reports to drive personal efficiency
- Ability to mentor and lead junior individual contributors

The pay range for this role is : $81, 000- 122, 000.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will BE determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.

Work Environment
- Typical office hours are 8 :00 AM - 5 :00 PM
- Hybrid work environment with time spent in the office on a regular basis
- Performing duties and attending events as required, sometimes outside core hours
- Travel may BE required

Required Physical Abilities
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis, sit and use a computer for a long period of time
- Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents
- Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper
- Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
- Ability to lift and carry a stack of forms and documents weighing up to 15 pounds / 7kg
