Position Duties
$Why do we need a Lead 3D Animator
We're working on the development of three games (A to AAA) across multiple genres, ranging from racing to action / adventure. Each project offers a unique gaming experience, and you'll be focusing on our action / adventure project.
- 1. Leading the Animation Team : You will direct and develop the animation team using Blender and Unreal Engine 5, balancing project delivery with mentoring your team. Must have resilience in working under pressure to meet the challenges of game development.
- 2. Technical Execution and Creativity : Oversee the creation of game prototypes and digital art, ensuring innovative solutions for technical and creative challenges. Must be adept in animation pipelines and rigging.
- 3. Streamline Communication : Serve as a key liaison, ensuring fluid collaboration across teams and departments. You must bring strong communication skills and adaptability to production changes.
- 4. Quality and Innovation : Uphold exceptional animation quality within tight deadlines. Prioritize continuous learning in Blender and Unreal Engine 5 to enhance your team's capabilities.
- 5. Team Dynamics and Professional Growth : Foster a positive environment, encouraging a healthy working environment for your team and the progression of junior animators with clear, constructive feedback.
$Your future team
You will join a project with 40 people (Gameplay Programmers, Designers, Artists, etc.) and you will Lead the animation team. The team is set to grow in the future !
Your future manager will be Jérémie VALERIUS, our Art Director.Jérémie has over 15 years of experience in video games, based in Montreal. He has been Associate Artistic Director and Senior Concept Artist on franchises like Dead by Daylight and Star Citizen. He specializes in defining a clear and effective artistic vision through attention to detail and clear artistic direction documents, providing you with all the tools and resources you'll need to achieve the production teams' objectives.
$Key information

- 45k euros-55k euros (+ depending on profile)
