Logistics & Project Logistics Officer - Guinea, Conakry | Shipping and Logistics
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics & Project Logistics Officer to work for a leading international shipping and logistics business in Guinea, Conakry.
As the Logistics & Project Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing international and domestic end-to-end shipments and project cargo. Responsibilities will include:
The role will involve
- Managing international and domestic end-to-end shipments and project cargo, from Quotation to Delivery
- Supporting and overseeing general freight forwarding and project logistics activities
- Address received RFQs with partner carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers locally & internationally

- Mapping of Country Logistics Road LayOut, Maintaining Updated Tariff Guidelines of Ports and Airports
- Maximise commercialisation of the local warehousing capabilities
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager and commercial teams in the business
Requirements
- Previous experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry is a must
- Experience working in West Africa is highly advantageous
- Fluency in English and French is a must
Package
- 42,000-48,000 EUR net per annum
- Accommodation and transportation in Guinea, Conakry provided
- Three return flights per annum to your home country
- This is a single-status opportunity
