The scope of the role is the following :
Lead regional capacity planning cycle and develop rolling 2 years of Emerging & Seeds (E&S) region factories capacity plan in order to secure Royal Canin supply chain operations
Provides insights on factories capacity feedering the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
Act as capacity control tower for E&S manufacturing units
Clearly identify factories planning changes vs last cycle, risk and opportunity area, and gap vs OP plan or stretch plan in a consolidated level. Provide feeder information to S&OP processes.
Regional Functional Expert of business capacity planning system and processes while ensuring data consistency
Owns deployments of factories planning standards, drives implementations of global E2E planning tool in E&S region, drives planning processes and tools continuous improvement

What are we looking for?-
Master's Degree in Supply Chain / Business Management
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in planning roles (supply & demand planning), ideally 1 to 3 years of experience as a Functional Expert or Key User
Advanced Skills in MS Excel, Knowledge of SQL language and Power Query
Knowledge of FuturMaster (preferred) or any other Planning software is a must
Good IT Knowledge, Project Management and advanced planning tools apply to supply chain
Fluent in written & spoken English
Familiar with IT systems (ERP/APS/Interfaces)

What will BE your key responsibilities?

Capacity Planning :
Design and deploy RC E&S capacity planning process standard within Global guidelines
S&OP+ consolidated regional capacity forecasting - analysis & generating insights to fuel regional SMR and VCO leads. Sharing changes vs last cycle, risks and opportunities, leading the conversation around developing action plans and informed decision making.
Develop a reliable capacity plan for 4 manufacturing units within 24 months horizon, integrating all the supply chain insights including factories capacity, planned activities, inventory, production parameters and safety stocks. Assess current factories setup to make appropriate business decisions that minimize costs and improve service level objectives.
Engaged and maintain periodical capacity process overview and communication with all key Stakeholder including Regional Supply planner, Regional IE Director and Factories Supply Chain Teams, and animating the Capacity Planning communities to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and proposed solutions to service and inventory issues.
Perform ongoing analysis of manufacturing units' capacity, assess risk and take corrective actions to close gaps - lead a control tower based operating model to track and monitor on weekly basis factories capacity plan
Mitigate manufacturing and supply risk and crisis through strong collaboration with plants
Guarantee the E&S capacity plan per unit and related data & KPI's are submitted in due time
Support and lead all key phases for an E2E-Planning core model deployments and upgrades in E&S : Fit analysis, design, development, UAT, go-live, hyper-care and post-project support
Supports functional deployment and planning knowledge transfer activities to factories key-users and users
Provide expert functional support to E&S capacity planning community and BE the central point of contact in the region for Global CoE, FuturMaster, Mars-IS, local/regional KU's
Collaborate with the Global planning BPOs, assess local CIP requests and propose enhancement of the process standard to BPO where change is beneficial
Accountable to maintain the documentation of the Planning Business processes and supporting system transactions

Manage factories MPS
Validate and sign off long term aggregated E&S network supplies in feeding the MPS
Capture and reflect Supply Allocation decisions across E&S Supply Network through MPS

Support Planning system
Custodian of existing eco-system allowing regional team to operate
Lead projects to enhance process efficiencies, system performances and secure data consistency
Provides assistance and first level of support to other regional planning functions (supply planning & demand planning if needed) planners from a technical and functional perspective
Test and Validate new functionalities before system upgrades
Ensure knowledge transfer on new planning functionalities to regional & local planning members
