Client Overview:
Our client is a reliable global supplier for the design manufacture and sale on the world market of heating elements and systems for domestic and industrial use. To grow their brand in the United States they are looking for a Key Account Manager for their automotive sector to further develop the market.
The Key Account Manager and Scope of Job:
The Key Account Manager will find and develop customer sales of heater products to increase company sales and profitability under a plan to develop by this position with top management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow business sales and market among customers within market responsibility
- Increase market share customer satisfaction and achievement of sales goals.
- Prepare and develop sales budget among customers and market within responsibilities
- Present and participate in learning sessions with customers (lunch&learn)
- Research and keep updated intelligence on the market and competitors conditions (Market projected growth profitability market share competitive position etc).
- Establish selling prices increasing profitability to the company by monitoring costs competition and supply and demand.
- Manage the daytoday activities in order to implement the organizations overall sales strategy for the market.
- Keep up to date CRM portfolio analyze report and administer major projects
- Prepare and present sales business plan and go to market strategy for new opportunities and potential projects for the company.
- Contribute to the development of sales marketing customer retention advertising pricing and distribution strategies for the market.
- Oversee sales support activities such as inside sales project management customer service distribution invoicing and credit and collections to ensure that customer orders are processed dispatched invoiced and paid accurately and on time.
- Coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organizations products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
- Connects with the business development organization in the company and platform managers in alignment of go to market strategy: product lines sales and business plan/profitability targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of five (5) years outside sales experience in Automotive sales to original equipment manufacturers
- Bachelors degree with engineering science or math preferred
- Experience in developing and implementing sales territory growth plans
- English speaking (Spanish is a bonus)
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers management and peers
- Proficient communication presentation organizational and negotiation skills
- Electric heat and control experience is a plus
