Join adwäisEO, a top player in IT services for the Space Ground Segment, serving clients like European Space Agency (ESA), Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA), public organizations, and private firms. Among our projects, the LSA Data Center, the European largest collaborative ground segment and DAMPS covering together 80% of ESA EO data and the systematic production for Sentinel 3A. We are looking for a talented Senior Software Architect to lead system design for application and distributed systems with a focus on robustness, modularity, and reusability. YOUR MAIN ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES: Design complex systems (architecture, data model, etc.) at both functional and technical levels based on clients requirements. Ensure coherence between developments and proposed architecture model. Redaction of architecture documents and technical specifications. Contribute to business analysis on technological choices. Technology trends watching for maintenance and continuous improvement. YOUR PROFILE: Master degree. 5 to 10 years of experience. Master object-oriented programming and design. Mandatory technical experience in development (experience with Python and/or NodeJS stack would be a plus). Experience in distributed and parallel computing systems. Knowledge of system frameworks, networking, and web architectures. Knowledge of cloud, microservices and virtualization technologies. Good command in system and architecture design, programming, and software lifecycle. English proficiency Teamwork, analytical thinking, critical sense, versatility, autonomy, and organization Valid work permit for EU. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Excellent command of Linux shell Python NodeJS, ReactJS, Typescript Good command of CD/CI techniques and tools Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred). Docker and Kubernetes BEING CONSIDERED AS A PLUS: French speaking Experience with EO Space ground segment sector.
