As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their technology strategy.
Leading the creation of a long-term plan for developing and integrating new security technologies and solutions. This involves staying ahead of emerging threats and trends, evaluating new technologies, and aligning them with the company's overall vision.
They are seeking an experienced and visionary leader hired for overseeing the development of a long-term strategy for the design and integration of innovative security solutions and technology. This entails assessing new technology, integrating them with the company's overarching goal, and staying ahead of emerging trends and dangers.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of cybersecurity trends, strong technical expertise, and a proven track record of successfully leading technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and market trends
- Product Innovation: Drive the innovation and development of cutting-edge cybersecurity products and solutions, staying ahead of emerging threats
- Team Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to the technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Technical Oversight: Ensure the technical integrity, scalability, and security of our products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve product excellence
- Research and Development: Lead the R&D efforts to explore new technologies, methodologies, and partnerships to enhance our product portfolio
- Drive revenue growth and market share: Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to create effective go-to-market strategies and achieve business objectives
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to enhance our technology ecosystem
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role within the cybersecurity domain
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and risk management
- Proficiency in; User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), Predictive analysis and threat hunting and Incident response automation
- Strong technical background with experience in software development, network security, and cloud technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing technology teams
- Strategic thinker with a track record of translating business objectives into effective technology strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving organisational goals and driving continuous improvement
