Job description
The Planning Manager leads the site's production planning team. He/she identifies and implements strategic changes to develop the team and guarantee sustainable performance Our client is a major player in the manufacturing sector, with a strong commitment to the quality of life of its employees, their families and local communities. To coach, motivate and lead the planning team in line with the company's core values. Develop a performance-driven culture by implementing continuous improvement and Lean principles. Manage production variability while optimising the use of resources and capacity. Confirm orders within agreed deadlines and maintain proactive communication with customer service. Manage and control plant planning operations to achieve short and medium-term financial and operational targets. University degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics or Economics. Minimum 8 years supply chain experience, with significant expertise in operations planning. Strong understanding of business processes and ability to make strategic decisions to optimise workflows. Previous experience in employee management.
