Business Continuity Manager Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish and manage a comprehensive BCM program.
2. Identify critical business processes, assess risks, and develop BCPs with defined RTOs and RPOs.
3. Enhance existing Business Continuity Policies and Plans.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Set up a functional Crisis Unit.
6. Conduct regular Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical activities, dependencies, and potential disruptions.
7. Facilitate the development and testing of BCPs across business units.
8. Ensure alignment with risk assessments.
9. Coordinate and manage testing exercises.
10. Address gaps in the program.
11. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations.
12. Collaborate with stakeholders to raise awareness of BCM.
13. Cultivate relationships with third-party vendors for BCM integration.
14. Monitor and enhance the BCM program continuously.
15. Present reports on program activities to senior management.
16. Activate BCP during disruptive events and coordinate recovery efforts.

Profil recherché

Business Continuity Manager Qualifications:

1. Fluent in French (mandatory); English proficiency is advantageous.
2. Very strategic and knowledgeable about IT in a banking context.
3. 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Risk, Internal Control, Financial Operations, or a related risk field.
4. Strong understanding of risk management principles.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
7. Experience in BIAs and BCP development.
8. Knowledge of banking industry best practices and regulations.
9. Familiarity with highly regulated environments.
