As our API Solutions Architect, you"ll be an integral part of our international architecture team, spanning across Bois-Colombes (France) and Bucharest (Romania).
Reporting directly to the Group"s Chief Architect, you"ll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence. As a key liaison, you"ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of API stakeholders, including solution, data, and technical architects, our innovation team, API product managers and owners, IT domain and application managers, API tech leads, project managers, and business analysts. You"ll also have the chance to engage with decision-makers across the company, potentially up to regional and even group C-level managers.
In collaboration with the domain & technical architects, and transversally to all functional domains, you will:
- Empower Teams: Coach and mentor teams new to APIs, helping them unlock their full potential
- Design Excellence: Using OpenAPI 3+, craft elegant and reusable APIs that bridge internal and external worlds, aligning with our API-First Strategy
- Your skills will help analysts to transform business requirements into elegant blueprints
- Publish them to our Developer Portal or weave them into the fabric of Confluence
- API Guardianship: Dive into the existing API ecosystem. Assess their current state, ensuring they align with their original purpose. Are they well-documented? Are they the reliable bridges we need?
- API Evolution: Identify gaps in our API formats, enhancing existing APIs to empower other applications and external interfaces
- Mocking Mastery: Enable API Mocking. Align with stakeholders, ensuring our APIs are battle-tested before they face the world
- Validation Guarantee: Define essential validations (schema, functionality) to fuel our API Management processes
- Policy Evangelization: Partner with the API Management Team (OCAPI) to champion and evolve API policies
- Lifecycle Ownership: As the API Lifecycle"s owner, play a crucial role in designing, testing, integrating, and monitoring APIs
- Data driven: Work with data architects to expose Coface data through internal and external APIs. Ensure consistency of published data
- Experience with Ardoq or another EA tool and Archimate, BPMN and UML modeling
- Proven experience in API design and architecture allows you to express your creativity in designing APIs
- Bachelor"s degree in information technology or computer science
- Master Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API-as-a-Product, REST/RESTfull API Design and API Mocking to create a seamless digital experience
- Your understanding of the long-term drivers of the business, as well as current and future opportunities, is the key to creating innovative business solutions
- Your experience of API management tools (API Gateway, API Catalog, API Developer Portal) helps you supporting the teams
- A good knowledge in API AuthN & AuthZ, API Logging and Monitoring, API Metrics, and Monetization would be a real plus
- Whether it's RESTful, GraphQL, or gRPC, your palette knows no bounds
- You also master main API patterns & anti-patterns, and API Security
- Skills in project management would be nice to have
- Very good command of English, both read and written is an absolute must (international team)
- You demonstrate leadership and vision
- It"s easy for you to interact with different stakeholders at all levels (technical or not, from business analyst to C-level) on architecture topics
- You are organized, meticulous and open-minded
- You're proactive
