What You Can Expect

As the Data Scientist, this role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including data collection for modeling, report generation, anomaly detection, trend identification, and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as IT, operations, sales, and finance. With over forty-five 45 Renewable operating sites, expertise in Solar, Wind or Battery Storage is crucial to effectively partner with internal IT and operations for running ad hoc reports and pinpointing root causes of asset performance issues. Collaborate closely with site personnel and contractors to understand the data perspective behind the performance issues. Work alongside third-party entities to further investigate and collaborate with OEMs to develop effective resolutions. Additionally, conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the potential impact of proposed solutions. As the Data Scientist, your reports will serve as a cornerstone for various teams in confirming or refuting asset performance concerns. Tasks include data ingestion, event logging, and providing feedback to all stakeholders. Additionally, engagement with external OEM companies such as GE and Vestas are essential for investigating and elucidating site performance data-driven results, utilizing SCADA data, and other tools such as Databricks, Python, R, and other energy analysis programs.

What You'll Bring
- Minimum bachelor's degree in which you have gain knowledge and understanding in energy data analysis, modeling, using Python, R and SQL. You should BE able to consolidate data various data sources and present your findings to the management.
- Minimum 5 years of renewable energy experience and relative industries

Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; with a minimum of two (2) day working from an ENGIE office and three (3) days working remotely.
- Must have the ability to travel domestically to visit sites, team meetings, conferences, training, and other similar activities of no more than 2 weeks at a time.
- Must BE willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
- Must BE willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range : $88, 200 - $161, 000 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
