Your Mission
- Define and implement sustainable Global commodity strategy
for one assigned main commodity or Regional commodity strategy for multiple
commodities so to improve supplier performance on parameters such as : quality,
delivery, cost, etc.
- Collaborate with other Company functions in order to BE aligned on company strategy and maximize results
- Define the annual saving budget
identifying risk and opportunities for a given commodity, promote and lead cost
reduction activities and alternative products/ solution, towards internal
stakeholder and Suppliers, to contribute to the overall cost reduction target
- BE responsible for tenders (RFQ)
- Negotiate long-term contracts with
global and local Suppliers. Negotiation includes lists, quality standards,
prices, discount rates, duration, delivery timescales, commercial terms and
conditions.
- For complex situations (main
disengagement), support team members in the daily supplier base management.Scout new suppliers to comply with
the category strategy and lead the qualification process developing a unique
sustainable supplier base
Your Profile
- Master's Degree in Business / Econonomics / Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic
sourcing in an international manufacturing company;
- Experience in international negotiation, contract and claim management
- English fluent
