Role : Automation/System Engineers
Location: Oakland CA (100% remote/must work PST Hours/Must be inCalifornia)
Type: 12 Month Contract
US Citizen Green Card H1B H4 TN Visa are acceptable
Must have:
Expertise with Puppet Versions from version 3 to newest
Experience with Puppet Puppets declarative language to specify system configuration in Puppet manifests complex resource dependencies compilation into catalogs for distribution to target systems/servers and split Puppet Master architecture.
7 years of Linux Redhat (must have experience with version 6 7 8 preferably 9 if possible)

Expertise with automation/configuration management using Puppet

Proven configuration management skills and mindset
Experience maintaining large clusters using configuration tools such as : Puppet/Chef
Strong practical Linux based systems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment Prior experience of
Qualifications
Expertise with Puppet Versions from version 3 to newest
Operating highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions
Strong handson experience in any of the scripting language Shell Perl Python or Ruby
Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git SVN etc )
Work with development teams to identify and implement automation in appropriate areas
Knowledge on distributed applications/enterprise applications is plus.
Deep working knowledge of web database and OS server configuration (Linux Apache and MySQL preferred platforms)
Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
