Overview:
The ServiceNow ITOM (IT Operations Management) plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure of the organization. This role involves leveraging the ServiceNow platform to streamline and automate IT processes improve service delivery and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing configuring and implementing ITOM modules within ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define IT infrastructure management strategies.
- Developing and maintaining ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and uptodate information.
- Automating IT operations processes such as event management incident resolution and change management.
- Monitoring and optimizing IT infrastructure performance and capacity using ServiceNow ITOM.
- Integrating ServiceNow ITOM with other systems and tools to create a unified operational environment.
- Provide technical expertise and support for ITOMrelated issues and initiatives.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for ITOM processes and procedures.
- Participating in the evaluation and implementation of new ITOM features and functionalities.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ITOM capabilities and efficiencies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure ITOM solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Participating in the planning and execution of ITOM projects and initiatives.
- Providing training and guidance to endusers on ITOM best practices and processes.
- Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in IT operations management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and configuring ServiceNow ITOM modules.
- Indepth understanding of ITIL framework and its application in IT operations management.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow CMDB implementation and management.
- Strong knowledge of ITOM automation and orchestration.
- Experience in integrating ServiceNow ITOM with other IT systems and tools.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex ITOM issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Proven experience in project management and execution of ITOM initiatives.
- Capability to create comprehensive documentation for ITOM processes and configurations.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure performance monitoring and capacity management.
- Ability to align ITOM solutions with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Experience in providing training and support to endusers on ITOM best practices and processes.
- Uptodate knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT operations management.
