As a key member Global Hub Data Team, the Data Visualization Lead will be responsible for
Defining and propagating best practices related to the use of the Power BI solution. Leveraging a solid background with Power BI, Storytelling, reporting design and KPI definition and computations, you will lead the transformation to deliver more value through an agile and efficient Business intelligence practice.
To achieve this goal the working scope will cover
- Identify reporting needs from the Competence Centers, and build and deploy Global reports
- Define the governance for Power BI workspaces
- Ensure the right use of the BI solution and track compliance with company policies, country regulations, and data privacy topics
- Business needs collection and challenge for Global Use Cases related to Business intelligence
- Document best practices (import mode, direct query, DAX …)
- Oversea and animate worldwide Data Visualization Community and train teams worldwide
- Follow the solution evolution and administrate the Power BI Premium instance and the related Gateways (access policy, setup, monitoring, gateway connections setup)
- Administration of the Power BI Premium instance:
- Build and deploy Global Reports with or without dedicated global data visualization experts
- Co-define with the CDO the Self-Service BI strategy according to technical capabilities and security requirements under a governed and efficient model
You"re a match
- Master"s degree in Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, or equivalent
- At least 2 years working in a Data Visualization/Business Intelligence leading position in a complex matrix organization with transversal management
- Advanced Expertise with Power BI solution: desktop, premium instance, solution administration and monitoring, CI/CD
- Advanced expertise in data visualization techniques and used to design Report and Dashboard (storytelling)
- Strong Dataset knowledge: data modeling, querying performance optimization with SQL, DAX, M-Query
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Organized and rigorous, oriented to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory
