Job description
We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel, commercial & contracts to join our Legal team within the Dean"s Office department in our Fontainebleau campus . This is a permanent, full-time position, with a hybrid working policy.
The job holder will support the senior business legal team on business transactions and charitable giving.
Main tasks will include
- Assisting the legal business team in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and RFP documents for various departments, notably Executive Education and others including Procurement, Construction and Research
- Supporting the senior legal business team on various tasks, such as takedown notices or review of clients" portal compliance documents
- Conducting legal research and providing analysis on applicable laws and regulations
- Assisting in the development and implementation of templates, training and solutions
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties as necessary to support the senior business team on any business initiatives and projects
The successful candidate should have the following profile
- A master"s degree in business law
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years" experience in an international environment
- Excellent written and spoken English, with practice in reading and writing contracts/documents in the field of business law in English. French language is a plus
- Ability to work and communicate within an international team, spread on different sites and time zones
- Very well-organised and business oriented
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
