Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our growing team. As a Procurement Analyst at Akeneo, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS procurement practices, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

- Vendor Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors for SaaS products and services.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Regularly assess vendor performance and address any issues that may arise.

- Procurement Analysis:

• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize purchasing strategies.
• Develop and maintain procurement reports to track key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions.

- Procurement Software implementation:

• Elaborate and document the purchase process.
• Participate in the implementation of a Procurement software.

- Contract negociation:

• Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
• Ensure that contractual terms align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing contracts to optimize cost and value.

- Cross-Functional collaboration:

• Work closely with various departments, including IT, Finance, and Legal, to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement efficient procurement processes.
• Provide guidance on procurement policies and best practices to internal teams.

- Compliance and risk management:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement activities.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Being fluent in English is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Familiarity with legal aspects of contracts and agreements.
