Your mission
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's business objectives
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
- Implement effective risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the financial health of the organization
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Manage cash flow effectively to support operational needs and strategic initiatives
- Optimize working capital and liaise with banks and financial institutions as needed
- Collaborate with the executive team to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company
- Provide financial leadership and mentorship to the finance team
- Foster positive relationships with investors and analysts
Your profile
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Proven 10 years of experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a technology company
- Strong understanding of the media industry
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results
- Fluent in French and English ( both written and spoken), any other language an asset
