Job Title: Commercial Specialist

Key Accountabilities:

Contract Review: Accountable for the review and creation of drafts using standard templates or by modifying existing contracts. Responsible for reviewing contracts to ensure they are accurate complete and meet the necessary requirements. This might involve checking for legal compliance and identifying any potential risks.

Contract Administration: Responsible for maintaining a contract database which involves recording contract details tracking logs and managing contract files.

Stakeholder Communication: Accountable for effectively communicating contract details and requirements to internal stakeholders and possibly to external parties.

Key Activities:

Draft and Edit Contracts: Using templates or modifying existing contracts to fit new situations. This could include a variety of contracts such as supplier contracts employment contracts or partnership agreements.

Review Contracts: Checking contracts to ensure they are compliant with laws regulations and company policy. Identifying potential risks and making suggestions for mitigation.

Administer Contract Database: Recording and updating contract details in the organizations contract database. Keeping track of key dates like contract initiation renewal or expiration.

Communicate with Stakeholders: Explaining contract requirements and terms to internal stakeholders like management or other departments. May also communicate with external parties such as vendors or partners under the supervision of senior contract specialists or legal team.
