DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE The internship is dedicated to the integration of high-end MEMS sensors and advanced algorithms. The purpose is to design a hardware and a firmware architecture that manage inertial MEMS sensors and run advanced algorithms. The purpose is control underground trajectories and positioning. It is mainly used in mining, drilling, submarine and deep geothermal applications.
DELIVERABLES You would develop a mock-up/prototype able to process and interface inertial sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometer). Main delivery are mock-up/prototype and related embedded software. You would benefit from expertise in Sensors and Processing groups at SLB.
REQUIRED SKILLS - Low power digital electronics (ADC, SPI, I2C, UART), -
- Embedded software (C for ARM Cortex M0/M4, DMA, RTOS, timers, testability...), -
- Python drivers/libs, Algorithms and code generation for model-based design (MATLAB)
