Job description

The mission of the LGM Group is to design unique innovative solutions (products, organizational, or technological) for large industrial groups, aiming to enhance the performance of large complex systems and infrastructures during operational and maintenance phases.

LGM is the historical entity of the Group, where everything started more than 30 years ago. Today, LGM comprises approximately 1100 employees, both in France and internationally, who analyze, optimize, and manage the design, operation, and maintenance of complex systems.
What do we seek?

We are looking for motivated and experienced engineers, that will contribute to mastering the risks associated with the operation of complex systems and preserving the safety of those who design, use, or maintain them.

What will you do?

As a RAMS engineer, your responsibilities will include :
- Conducting product and system analysis and creating detailed RAMS specifications (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) within project frameworks
- Evaluating complex systems in terms of component reliability and availability
- Defining system requirements and RAMS constraints
- Performing FMEA, FMECA, Failure Tree Analysis (FTA), reliability predictions, functional and malfunction analysis, failure and fault scenarios and other probabilistic analysis
- Ensuring the quality of RAMS evaluations (planning, test evaluations, etc.).

As a team manager, your responsibilities will include :
- Preserving a safe working environment for your team
- Creation of monthly administrative reports
- Motivating your team and follow-up on individual performances and professional skill-developments
- Ensuring effective and professional communication
- Managing the workload and of your team
- Interview candidates for recruitment
- Building and motivating a growing, multi-national and multi-lingual team
- Proposing areas of further business development according to the strategic directions for the region What is required?

The RAMS Business Line is a professional community within the LGM Group, bringing together our engineers, project managers and LGM experts for mutual improvement and skill-development.

Your abilities should include :
- The willingness to integrate within a dynamic and multidisciplinary LGM team, that is not afraid to take on technical challenges
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead meetings, understand our clients' expectations and promote LGM's interests in a multi-national and multi-industry environment
- A minimum 3 years of experience in RAMS (railway/defense/aerospace)
- Previous experience in Team Management is essential
- Passion for exploring complex systems to identify potential risks and failures and perform advanced RAMS analysis, as well as sharing your expertise and know-how
- Willingness to actively contribute to the dynamics of the RAMS Business Line and take on the challenges of the profession
- Working and making decisions under pressure, dealing with tight deadlines and budgets
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, good German and French skills are an asset
