As part of the Finance Department, more specifically the Finance Operations Department, and reporting directly to the Finance & Purchase Data Office Director, you will join the team as Finance Data Governance Lead. In a context of major transformation, driven both by the "MDM 2.0" program aimed at overhauling the worldwide group repository and by the initiative to restructure all of our End-to-End processes (Source-To-Settle, Order-to-Cash, Hire-to-Retire & Record-to-Report), Data is more than ever an essential key success factor to leverage.

Your mission is mainly to build the appropriate processes, tools and organizations in order to implement the Finance & Purchase Data Management centralization for France and affiliates aimed at optimizing the sourcing, the end to end flows, the accessibility of data, ensuring Data quality, securing key success factors and mitigating risks for ongoing data projects.

Responsabiliities :
- Master Data Strategy and Governance

Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for master data management within the finance domain in line with Global Data Governance.

Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices for maintaining high-quality financial master data and ensuring the integration with process governance.

Manage Finance & Purchase Data for France and affiliates with CoreModel.
- Team Leadership and Development

Lead and mentor a team of master data manager, fostering growth and skill development (~ 3 peoples currently).

Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the finance domain while being agile & aligned.
- Data Quality and Integrity :

Monitor and maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial master data across systems and processes.

Design and implement data validation processes and tools to ensure data integrity.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve data quality issues promptly and maintain efficient CoreModel.
- Foster worldwide cross-functional collaboration

Act as a bridge between business and technology teams to ensure alignment with data strategies and goals.

Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders, IT, and other relevant departments to understand data needs and requirements.
- Data Standardization and Harmonization in cooperation with the global data office

Drive efforts to standardize and harmonize financial master data definitions, structures, and formats.

Work with teams to establish data dictionaries and data lineage to enhance data understanding and transparency.
- Change Management and Acculturation

Lead change management and acculturation initiatives to drive adoption of finance domain master data management practices across the Group.

Develop and deliver training programs to ensure data stewards and users understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation :

Identify opportunities to enhance data management processes, tools, and technologies.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in master data management.

Education :

Leading engineering school with a Master's specialization in Data or a related fields.

Proven experience of at least 5 years in data governance (incl. management) in an international context.

Relevant certifications in data Governance or Management are a plus.

Hard skills :

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various stakeholders, including our subsidiaries and Top Management.

Strong understanding of data governance, and data quality management namely in financial/purchasing domains.

SAP knowledges (Modules MM Purchasing or FI-CO/Finance-Controlling) is recommended.

Fluent written and spoken English

Leadership skills :

At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.

Soft skills :

Proven track record of successfully implementing master data management strategies within a domain.

Experience with master data management tools and technologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to embark, mobilize and drive across departments and influence stakeholders.
