Head of Legal and Compliance M/W - Morocco

Our client is a well-established multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry.

Based in Casablanca and directly attached to the General Manager, you will act as a motivated and highly engaged member of Morocco Leadership Team, role modelling business ethics and quality mindset.

As the Head of Legal, Ethics & Compliance Morocco, your responsibilities will be:

• Developing and leading the legal & Compliance in Morocco. You will drive a strong Business Ethics mindset among all leaders and employees.
• Being a part of Morocco Leadership Team, setting direction on legal, ethics and compliance matters and being a trusted and solution oriented sparring partner to the Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
• Play a critically important role in managing legal, ethics, compliance risks in Morocco. You will ensure together with the leadership team a very strong 'tone from the top' culture.
• Working closely and collaboratively with other functions to enable business strategy and opportunities while ensuring that quality and business ethics are never compromised.

You have a master's degree in Law and are accredited to a relevant bar as a lawyer. You have at least 6 years of legal and compliance experience, as an external or in-house counsel. Experience in multinational organisation is mandatory with an extensive legal knowledge and understanding of both global and internal regulation within multinational pharmaceutical companies or similar regulated sectors.

You are proactive, solution focused, pragmatic and possess strong business partnering and communication skills.
