Responsibilities
- Participate in new investment projects of new production equipment (specifications, analysis, management of software integrators, tests, and training)
- Troubleshooting installations, participating in problem-solving
- Manage and monitor continuous improvement projects relating to production equipment in collaboration with production, engineering, and quality functions
- Ensure the safety of facilities and operations by setting up and maintaining machine safety systems.
- Ensure the operation of automation equipment (maintenance plan, update of programs, anticipate obsolescence)
- Manage the updating of technical documentation against current standards and Envision AESC recommendations, anticipate and manage non-conformities.
Background & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronic Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within a high-volume manufacturing plant
- Expert in programmable logic controllers (such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell, or Schneider) and interface programming software
- Knowledge of Siemens monitoring programs (WinCC, PCS7) and SQL language
- Methodology of problem-solving from statistical data
- Ability to present conclusions to all levels of the management team.
