The Supply Planner will be responsible for a portion of Planning and Purchasing at our biggest and most important manufacturing plant in France, reporting to the Planning Manager and working directly with Customer Service, Production, Demand Planning, Logistics, Sourcing and R&D teams. As an alternative to the workplace in Peronne, alternative options in Paris or Sélestat (SENFA company headquarters) could be evaluated.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the Supply Plan according to the Demand Forecast and other Planning Parameters
- Guarantee the right stock levels throughout the year of finished products, semifinished products and other raw materials
- Ensure an optimal service level to our Customers (on time and in full performances)
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to have in full and on time deliveries
- Communicate & Collaborate with other functions to balance effectively service and inventory
- Create and maintain Purchase Orders
- Minimize aged inventory
- Run ad hoc analysis and reporting on Supply Planning
- Participate in the MPS & Supply Planning software implementation and be a major user after the go live
- Set up a continuous improvement approach to Supply Planning procedures and tools
- Analyse and Improve Supply Lead Times
Key Requirements
- Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related disciplines
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Planning
- Fluent in French
- Team player and able to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Proactive and continuous improvement mindset
- MS Office good knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Analytical and Data-driven
