We are currently looking for our future Product Data Support Specialist (m/f/d)  based in Blieskastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support to (internal) customers, primarily through ticket solving for level 1 and level 2 support, with a focus on the Stibo STEP system (a Product Information Management system). This will involve making adjustments, modifying attributes, changing settings, and resolving technical issues. On-the-job training will be provided for tools like Jira (issue tracking tool  that allows bug tracking and agile project management)  and the Stibo STEP (Product Information Management system) as needed. The Technical Support Specialist may also have the opportunity to provide training to local countries supported by the company as they gain experience. The role is initially a temporary position with the potential for conversion to an indefinite contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat, with a focus on ticket solving for level 1 and level 2 support.
• Resolve technical issues related to the Stibo STEP system, including making adjustments, modifying attributes, changing settings, and providing product guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, follow Agile/Scrum methodologies, and maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, solutions, and system modifications.
• Deliver training to local countries supported by the company as appropriate, once the Technical Support Specialist gains sufficient experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers in English, and demonstrate proficiency in German and/or French language skills, if applicable.
• Maintain a customer-friendly approach, delivering high-quality service with technical affinity, accuracy, problem-solving skills, and professionalism.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by managing and resolving tickets in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Be open and willing to learn and participate to on-the-job training for tools like Jira and the Stibo STEP system as needed, and be open and willing to learn new technologies.
• Proven experience in technical support, customer service, or a related field is a plus
• Strong technical skills in areas such as the Stibo STEP system, Jira, and Agile/Scrum methodologies would also be a big plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in German and/or French language skills, if applicable.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Professional certifications or experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
