Role Definition
Integrated within the department Structures and Piping department, we are looking for a Valve and Connectors engineer who will be supporting tender and/or project on Valve and Connector related scopes of work.
MISSION
Under the responsibility of the Valves and Connector lead engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Provide expert skills and knowledge in Valve and Connector related scopes to the Structures and Piping engineering team, including supporting other engineering disciplines
- Works as part of the project team, supporting the Lead Engineer in performing engineering for successful project delivery
- Ensures full traceability of the technical development of the assigned scope throughout the life of the project
- Ensure that QA/QC process is well followed
- Interface with project team, engineering teams (welding, installation methods, operation, materials etc) and SCM
- Manage valve and connector packages
- Be aware of the overall project planning and responsible of the planning of their Scope of Work
- Ensure that know-how is transferred within the discipline. Attend to discipline meeting as required
Qualification
- You have a Degree in Engineering, from a recognised institute in; Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Automotive or Naval Architecture along with 10 years proven experience in a similar role providing Valve and Connector expertise
- Knowledge : Valve , Connector,Package Management, Document Control
- Your English is fluent
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplined system engineering team
- Ability to prioritise own workload, manage time accordingly and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of programme or budget
- Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints
- Ability in working in multicultural group
