Your key responsibility will BE
- Performance analysis of the BA and its departments.
Your function
- Work towards governance reinforcement and governance convergence throughout all BA's in order to streamline GBA processes;
- Analysis, monitoring and reporting of actual performance of the BA and some of its P&L/product, on a monthly basis, in comparison to their the annual objectives;
- Monitoring and follow-up of the performance plans that are rolled out;
- Elaboration of dashboards and production and follow-up of financial and/or operational KPI's (Yearly, Monthly & Quarterly results, P&L, Business Booked, Hours, SG&A) for your specific area of responsibility;
- Proposal of corrective actions necessary to reach the annual objectives if/when necessary, namely via cost reduction recommendations;
- Assistance to Head of P&LS and Product Managers during periodical project reviews for significant projects within perimeter;
- Together with the Head of Finance BA, interface efficiently with Project Control activities performed in the Legal Entities;
- Elaboration and analysis of the annual budget and MTP for your specific area of responsibility within the BA and the definition of proposed targets for the BA;
- Contribution to reporting and communication of actual results and budget/MTP of the BA;
- In close cooperation with Project Controllers acting in your specific area of responsibility and under the supervision of the Head of Finance BA, monitoring of the financial closing process at BA level and proposal of improvements;
- Contribution to ad-hoc BA and transversal analyses upon request of management.
Interaction
- Internal interfaces : Head of Finance BA, Head of P&L, Product Manager BA, Head of Business Control, Business Control, Reporting & Performance integrated team, Project Control teams of the Legal Entities, etc.;
- External interfaces : BA stakeholders, customers (public and private).
Your profile
- Master degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Audit and Control, Economics management sciences and you have at least 6 to 8 years' experience in a similar function;
- You have a professional working proficiency in English and a full professional working proficiency in Dutch and/or French;
- You have an excellent command of office tools (MS Office) and you are particularly familiar with tasks relating to Excel (spreadsheet preparation and management) and SAP;
- You ideally have some knowledge of the Engineering business;
- You integrate easily in multidisciplinary teams, you are sociable, dynamic and prepared to take initiatives;
- You have a strong analytical mind-set, you are well organized, accurate, rigorous, stress resistant and focused on meeting the schedules;
- You are assertive and defend firmly and clearly your point of view in case of differences of opinion.
